A client of Domum’s wanted a logo for their new development called Hobby Condos. These are garage condominiums that each contain space for vehicles and an office. Garage condos are common on the east coast, but are brand new to Northern California. Hobby Condos needed their logo to be sporty, iconic, and attractive to motor enthusiasts. After dozens of designs, the decision was a BankGothic typeface with five red lines running through the “O” to resemble an abstract garage. The five red lines are also repeated on their buildings and throughout their brand.
